Martina Stella "The Hottest and Young Italian Model Actress"

Martina Stella (born November 28, 1984) is an Italian television and film actress.

Stella made her cinematic debut at the age of 17 in 2001 in L'ultimo bacio. The film was a success in Italy, and was nominated for multiple 2001 David di Donatello awards, including Best Film.
L'ultimo bacio was released internationally, with the title The Last Kiss for English-speaking audiences. Reviews of Stella's performance as Francesca, a beautiful teenager who seduces a man in a committed relationship, were generally positive.

One American reviewer compared her to "a young Reese Witherspoon", while another described her portrayal in greater depth:
In an American movie, Francesca would be presented as a virgin with a Britney Spears-like come-on or trivialized as a mindless bimbo.

In "The Last Kiss," she's presented without judgment as a normal, sexually active girl with a lot to learn about men. It's a balanced and sympathetic portrait.

Stella proceeded to build a career as an actress in Italian films, including 2002's Amnèsia, which was directed by past Academy Award-winner Gabriele Salvatores. Her film career has also included a small role in the 2004 Hollywood movie Ocean's Twelve. She studied English for her role in the 2009 Rob Marshall film Nine.

Stella made her theatrical debut in 2002 in Aggiungi un posto a tavola, and briefly returned to the stage in 2006 in Romeo e Guilietta. Stella has also played lead roles in various Italian television projects, including the miniseries Le ragazze di San Frediano and Piper.

Over the years, Stella has been a spokesperson for various commercial products (primarily clothing and cosmetics) and for several charitable causes.

Stella often visits Italian television talk shows to promote her acting projects and interests. She has also been a prank victim on Italian television's Scherzi a Parte, and she acted in the videoclip for the song "Eternal woman" by the Belgian band dEUS.

In print, Stella is a frequent cover model, interview subject, and story topic for Italian magazines. She has appeared multiple times on the covers of the Italian-language publications Max and Vanity Fair.

Personal Quotes

I've worked really hard to bring something more to "pretty girl" roles over the years. I consider it a challenge.

[On transitioning from modeling to acting] My father persuaded me to take classes, and my first agent in Austin paid for them. I'd always wanted to be an actress. I did it in high school and fell in love with it, but I was distracted by the modeling industry because I wanted to travel and get out of my hometown. It was the easier ticket.

Personal life

Heard was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Her father, David, is a contractor, and her mother, Paige, is an internet researcher for the state. She attended St. Michael's Catholic Academy in Austin until her junior year, when she left to pursue a career in Hollywood. As a teenager, Heard was active in her school's drama department and appeared in local commercials and campaigns.

At the age of 16, her best friend died in a car crash and Heard, who was raised Catholic, then subsequently declared herself an atheist, due to the influence of the works of Ayn Rand. Dropping out of school at the age of 17, to go to New York to start a career in modeling, she then relocated to Los Angeles to get into acting.

Heard came out as a lesbian in 2010, at GLAAD's 25th anniversary event. She is dating Tasya van Ree
