Chrissie Chau (周秀娜) surely has sped up the summer arrival in Hong Kong. If you’ve been anywhere near an MTR or a newsstand you know the face and definitely the body of Chrissie Chau from her ads for Slim Beauty! So we’re here to introduce Chrissie to you if you don’t know her.
Chrissie got into modeling after she won 1st runner-up title at the 2002 Comics Festival Game Girl, as her greatest assets started to get noticed (they are reportedly 32D). She’s proud of them and vowed to keep this bikini image going as part of her job and her claim to fame.
She’s many guys dream girl: not only is she hot, she loves to drive stick and she’s crazy about video games. While she apparently has a hairdresser boyfriend in Jordan, I’m sure she will soar to new heights soon, especially with TV commercials like this one:
The story behind this commercial and more shots are continued below:
She’s also a spokesperson for a young/hipsters shopping website called Chaobang.com. The site launch featured with a 1:1 limited edition cushion of her back in February. Only 150 were made and of course, they were long gone, but helped the site pull in visitors. You can still check out the site for cool Japanese and U.S. clothes and pictures of Chrissie without her clothes.
If you’ve almost walked into other people while staring at her MTR ad like we have, you should have seen the what happened during the making of the TV commercial: The setting was Central, Chrissie had to rip off her top to reveal a bikini underneath, as shown in the video above, while crossing the road at around noon time. A tourist was so “passionate and curious” to capture the production where the flash of his camera affected the filming progress. The crew had no choice but to call the cops after they failed to ask him to stop politely whilst he screamed and yelled to make a scene.
We’d definitely yell and make scenes if we saw Chrissie at the Neonpunch offices. But until then we have these awesome shots to tie us over this weekend:
